Changelog
ZAF Tools ships updates every 4–8 weeks. This page lists what changed in each release: new FDD workflows, AI modules, template library additions, and fixes. If you're deciding whether ZAF Tools is actively developed, or whether a feature you need has shipped yet, this is the page to check.
Two kinds of releases show up here. Feature releases add a new workflow or module — the move from manual EBITDA bridge building to Run Full FDD across five statements is the kind of change that shows up as a major version bump (5.0.0, July 2026). Maintenance releases add smaller things inside an existing workflow — a new export format, a template library addition, a fix to a mapping edge case — and land as minor versions.
Every release is installed automatically for existing users through the code-signed auto-update flow; there's nothing to download by hand. If you're on an older version and a workflow described on a feature page doesn't match what you see in Excel, check the version number against this page — it's usually a sign an update is pending or blocked by IT policy.
The releases below are grouped from newest to oldest. Each line is a shipped, user-facing change — not every internal fix is listed.

What's next
The roadmap is driven by what deal teams ask for during live demos, not a fixed release calendar. Recent releases — Group Consolidation, the deal health scorecard, Partner Commentary — all started as a specific request from a boutique or PE deal team running a real engagement. If there's a workflow your team rebuilds by hand every deal and doesn't see here, book a demo and it becomes an input to the next release, not just a feature request in a queue.
How releases reach you
The ZAF Tools installer is code-signed and updates automatically — most users are on the latest version within a few days of release, subject to their firm's IT update policy. Enterprise deployments on a locked-down image can pin to a specific version; talk to us before upgrading a firm-wide install mid-engagement.
